[at-l] Lyme tick bite?

It depends on what you mean by "treated". I believe the current
protocol will be to offer Doxycycline or similar broad spectrum and
inexpensive antibiotic on the history of tick exposure in an endemic
area.

If we are seeing 12 or more Lyme infections in a year's group of
thru-hikers (and the year is still young), we are seeing a real problem
that should end any reluctance to use DEET more consistently.
