[at-l] Beef in Shepherd's Pie

Subject: [at-l] Beef in Shepherd's Pie

Does anyone have a suggestion of what to use for beef in a "boil in
the bag" trail version of Shepherd's Pie? I tried beef jerky and it
was OK, but a little spicy, and a little tough. The other ingredients
are mashed potato mix, gravy mix, corn chowder mix, powdered milk, and
Butter Buds, with boiling water, of course.
