Agree on all counts.  Bigelow is one mother of a mountain,
and worth whatever time you can give it.  Once off Bigelow,
there's not much for views, but you can make good time.

Plan to swim at the Carry ponds, and *definitely* stay at
Pierce Pond lean-to, one of the most beautiful lean-to
sites on the AT, imho.  More good swimming there, of
course.
