This one fell "on" the Trail just minutes after we passed by. This was
about 150' south of Tom's Run Shelter in PA. Yes it made noise. First
a sharp cracking sound followed by a whacking sound as it bounced off
the tree it fell from, then a loud thump as it hit the ground, followed
closely by a holy sh*t.
