There's a link here to a great QuickTime 360 panomrama.
When it loads, you're looking at the Knife Edge, pan right you see the cairn
that makes Katahdin a mile high (thruhikers stuff momentos into the cracks),
further right (above the resting hikers) the AT heads South to Katahdin
Stream Campground, looking right again the pre-99 Baxter Peak sign with the
Table Land beyond, right some more and you're looking due North, then the
Great Basin with South Turner Mnt and the Basin Ponds, then the Chimney rises
below Pamola Peak and the Knife Edge.
Wicked nice day on top! I wonder if we know any of those hikers? :O)
