[at-l] New P-1 and storage

I found some great plastic modular type shelves at Target for cheap. It
sits in the finished basement and so far has been helpful, but its not fully
organized yet. I just got some baskets on sale at the dollar store - a
bundle of 9 for 3 bucks or something, and am putting the misc smallish odd
stuff in these to help out the sprawl that has taken over the middle shelves
and the floor.

When I first bought it - I actually thought it would be too big for my gear.
I thought I'd have tons of extra space for other things non-hiking related.
I'm finding i've more junk than I thought I did and now i'm looking for ways
to make some of the middle shelves into 2 shelves cuz they are very tall
shelves and I need more room!

Cheerio

Thanks to Mara I went and pondered the ULA gear website. I've
ordered a P-1. The lumbar support enticed me. And the spacious
hipbelt pockets.

But now where am I going to put all these packs? Between them
and the sleeping bags, my collection of camping gear is starting
to get a little bulky. It made me wonder what other people do
with all their gear. Anybody have fun, interesting, or efficient
solutions to gear storage? If you tell me you keep it all in
the garage I'll have to remain envious. This old house didn't
come with a garage.
