Actually, rather than pejorative, it only impugns clinical considerations. 
That is my turf, thank you!

I have the grease pot and think that a reasonably fastidious person can use 
it without leaving excessive food debris in the lip of the pot 
reinforcement bend. Sanitation is relative in the woods. Sterility is 
non-existent. Your point is wise for the user to pay attention to that 
section of the pot when cleaning it.
