I am indeed safe and sound - and back with a newfound respect for the
dangers of snow and ice climbing! One truly is at the mercy of the waether,
snow conditions, etc. - in addition to the skill of your companions and
ability to use an ice axe for self-arrests, belays, etc. I sure hope that
we hear good news re the recent news story - there have already been way too
many deaths and serious accidents this year on Rainier and nearby Mt. Hood.
Having said all that, if you check my pictures out, you'll see why lots of
good folks take the risks and seek the challenge! :)

Boy I hope so. Glad he's home safe. I mean prayers for the climbers,
whoever they are but I'm glad Clark is safe and sound. I had to dump
a bunch of email, unread from my server because of something that just
would not download. I guess his post was in there.
