        ***    One of my best slides from my 1986 AT hike is a group of about 
a dozen forest service fire crew in bright yellow fire jackets standing for a 
picture in the smoky mist of a controlled burn fire in the Tip of Tennessee 
area. I made a mistake not posing in there with them...
