[at-l] Re: Drugs on the trail.



Maybe it was a thru-hiker thing.  I've done almost 6 weeks of the trail from
New Jersey to New Hampshire since April and I saw none. Nada, Zilch.  But
we've seen practically no thru-hikers yet (too soon for them up here). I
only saw 2 that caught up to us last section.  The only "substance" being
used anywhere was some Scotch by some 50-something weekenders.  Definitely
an old-boy thing, that.

We'll see in August in Maine when I expect to see lots of  them then.  OTOH,
I guess only 10% make it that far.  Maybe the pot smokers are part of the
90% that don't make it this far.
