Velvet Rocks shelter just north of Hanover has a privy without walls.  Just a 
stainless steel toilet sits at the end of a blue blazed side trail.  The 
fixture is positioned such that while seated on the throne the user faces 
away from the trail.  I assume the idea is that any planning on using the 
privy next would see the occupant and walk back up the trail thereby avoiding 
embarrasment by not making eye contact.  Sounds like a good theory to me.
