Rule # 1 When you do buy your pack don't buy a big one. It is almost
impossible to resist filling it up since you have the extra room and
most things seem light by themselves. I did that when I first started
and ended up carrying 57 pounds of light weight camping equipment. That
pack is now in retirement.
