[at-l] Virginia Hike

Herb,

A month ago I walked that section and there was plenty of water available then. At Atkins/Groseclose check out the restaurant across the road from the closed Diary Queen. I stayed at the motel there too. A couple of miles south there is a Frontier museum that is pretty neat. You will walk right past a restored one-room school house. Be sure in go inside and check it out. There is a good parking area at Ceres (pronounced series by the locals). If you have a little extra time extend your hike
from 603 Fox creek and venture into the high country of Mount Rogers.
