On Sunday and Monday after Trail Days we had over 50 thru-hikers on
helping rebuild Clyde Smith shelter and cutting new trail near Walnut
Mountain Rd. The turn out was partly due to the wave of hikers but was
mostly the result of good planning by Bob Peoples and others.
Thru-Hikers are eager to give back if given the opportunity.
