Ha!
I totally GET this.
As I came southbound in Hot Springs last month, I paused on the fenced
bridge and peered down at the cars. I was trying to imagine what it would be
like on the thru.
As I hung out there, several cars honked at once, and I threw my arms up,
happy and spontaneous. What a cornball thing to do. But very natural, and
the feeling was good.
And mutual. It WAS a connection, on both sides, to something deep in all of
us.
Whatever that thing is, it's a cool thing.
