### Me a weenie for not doing the Knife Edge? Noooo, I'd have to
beg off of that one. The day I was up there, everything was
coated in 1/4 inch of ice, the visibility was under 20', and the
70mph winds were gusting twice that -- picking my skinny butt up
and tossing me body lengths off trail. My plan had been to cross
the Knife Edge and bop down Pamola, but that was nixed the
moment I realized I couldn't *see* the Knife Edge. From the
Summit Sign. Fo' real. Fo' fear.

(who loves writting all that down, just so's he can read it all
over again and disbelievingly ponder "Did I *really* do that?")
