I've been on the following antidepressants since leaving the Trail:

Amitriptyline
Amoxapine
Bupropion
Clomipramine
Desipramine
Doxepin
Fluoxetine
Fluvoxamine
Imipramine
Isocarboxazid
Maprotiline
Nortriptyline
Paroxetine
Phenelzine
Protriptylin
Sertraline
Tranylcypromine
Trimipramine
Trazodone
Venlafaxine

I went out West and then back East. I went South and then North. I took another job. I quit smoking. I cut my hair and let my toenails grow. I let my hair grow back out and cut my toenails. I petted the cat. I took up Trail maintenance. Nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing has helped.

Hiking the Trail ruined my life.

The other day I bought some brand new hiking poles with Trail protecting rubbers on their tips. I put on "Steve Earle and The Del McCoury Band"'s CD "The Mountain" and danced around in my apartment with the hiking poles like they were partners, leaning and swinging on first one and then the other. It felt really good and they fell in love with me. They didn't want to let me go. We're going hiking again real soon, I can just feel it.

Keep Truckin' Balls
