Upon  reflection, it may have been a rare hybrid -- a cross between a bear and a
beaver.

It  was  one of those ugly western pines -- not the pretty white, red and Norway
pines   that   sensible  places  like  Maine  have.  Ansel  Adams  was  a  great
photographer.  But  I'm  still puzzled about why he wasted his time in Yosemite.
Ansel  wouldn't  have  found  it  so  pretty if he'd had to walk 16 miles before
breakfast.
