This does sound like something that should be discussed with her doctor.
There may be a medication that does not need refrigeration.  (Even if it is
slightly less effective it may reduce the hassle factor?)  (BTW; be sure to
document any and all medications taken out of the country.  Some countries
can be sticklers about the darn'dest things, and you would like to return on
your own schedule.)
