[at-l] Fuel tab resupply?

you can find the esbit tabs in many spots, but one of the nice things about
them is that you can send the esbit tabs in maildrops. so, in towns w/o an
outfitter who carries them, you can simply send a small envelope pack to
yourself... you can even do so from another town on the trail - send them
ahead.

the companion will help you id towns w/ outfitters and you can call to see
if they plan to stock esbits, and ask how much they will stock - so you can
see if they will run out before you get there.

Subject: [at-l] Fuel tab resupply?

Yesterday I was down at the Post Office weighing some items
of gear (my glasses weigh .4 oz) and when I put my well-worn
Whisperlite on the scale I was strongly tempted to pitch the
thing.

Can I expect to be able to buy fuel tablets in trail towns
a couple times a month while thru-hiking? Or are these
less common than Coleman fuel?
