"If  everyone  agrees to drop THIS topic for 14 days..." folks are promising all
kinds of money to ATC.

What  a wonderful fundraising gimmick. Most subtle. I read the message again and
again  and  I've  figured  that  I shouldn't "Talk about someone who talks about
talking about the AT-L." I think simply being friendly and not blasting folks we
don't  agree  with  will qualify. However, everyone should at least stop talking
about something -- providing they also send in their money to the ATC.

 I  gather also that we're are not supposed to accuse people of being anyone but
themselves.  Not  that  I  was  ever tempted to do so. It seems easy to me. Just
assume  folks  are who they say they are, or, for that matter, believe what they
say  they  believe. And then send in some bucks. I know the ATC needs it. I just
got  back from a meeting with an ATC land trust specialist lamenting the lack of
cash.

Put  me  down  for  a  hundred bucks. I'll think of something boring not to talk
about. But I can't pay until I get my tax refund.
