[at-l] Kids on the AT

Hi patti, 

I'm not a thru-hiker, nor have my kids hiked more than 5 miles on the AT, but they have hiked dozens of miles elsewhere and will go at any opportunity.
They both love to hike.

If you have specific questions, I'll try to answer them.
