I am still working on my trip report from the Pine Mountain Trail, but the trail is definitely nice. From Atlanta this is an easy drive. The trail is well marked and goes up and down a couple of 100 feet instead of 1000s. The campsites are nice and close together. Check out www.pinemountaintrail.org for more info. There are several waterfalls at the east end.
