Boy, I hear ya there. Mittens are better for warmth and
if I didn't have the dogs' leads to manage, I world switch
to overmits.  But I just can't manage any really function
with liner mits.  I have to have liner gloves or i end up
doing stuff bare handed and that's not good.  If you aren't
used to wearing gloves, I think it's a good practice to become
accustomed to doing campchores with liner gloves on.  You
lose a ton of body heat through your hands and if you can keep
them covered while you pitch or pump, you are ahead of the game
IMHO and YMMV of course.
