Although that succinctly positive suggestion is a hopeful idea, a
review of the literature confirms that most kinds of group therapy
are ineffective in cases of obsessional flatulence. The one exception
to this finding comes from an informal study by a therapist in
Cancun, Mexico whose group dynamic included something called
"Beano-Jello Shots".
