	Funny, I'd say that a moderator should be someone who can manage and
knows the difference between an  on-line mailing list and a hiking
trail. But you could prove me wrong. Ryan said he need a moderator for
the environmental news and advocacy list. Why don't you volunteer?

	You know, you go on and on about the AT 'wilderness'. Now, I've only
hiked a very small percentage of it, but I've read the trail journals
and guide books, checked out the various web resources. I've also hiked
formally designated wilderness areas in the East. 

	I hereby extend an open invitation to you, RnR. Come out to Montana,
and I'll take you into some wilderness. If you want a 'sense of
wilderness', I can help.
