[at-l] Down Sleeping bags.

I have a cheap down sleeping bag from Campmor that's served me well, but
having a singled walled tent, many times I'd notice a dampness at the foot of
the bag due to condensation on the tent walls. Nothing really to be
concerned about as I could usually sun and air dry it during breaks. Even if
it took a day or two for the sun to come out, it didn't pose any problems.

On occasion, it has gotten wet, notably in the very wet Washington State. I
know it goes against conventual wisdom, but the wet down did have some
insulating properties when wearing Frogg Toggs, atleast enough to get me into
town and the bag into a dryer.

However, I was wondering if anyone has treated their down bag with a spray-on
water repellant? I know there are a few products out there especially made
for sleeping bags, but wanted to know if anyone knows of their effectiveness.

Thanks, Sly
