but it sounds like consent by default since property values have inflated
beyond practicality. Believe it or not, MacKaye sought to lock in vast wild
tracts before this predictable eventuality arrived. ATC apparently didn't
believe in taking a hard stand on Saddleback either.
Jim and others: On the AT, are we walking a private property
appreciation corridor or fighting to preserve a threatened east coast
greenway?
BTW Jim: T'was Breen who cashed in at the yardsale on this one...
