[at-l] glasses was OT Lasik

The sight for distance in my left eye is not too terribly bad, so the RX =
is not strong. However, the close-up sight in my right eye is very poor =
and so the RX is strong. It has taken some getting used to wearing a dif=
ferent RX for each eye with the contacts and at first, it felt like a ver=
y mild case of vertigo coming on ( something that I have to deal with on =
occasion anyway). But as the week has passed, so has that feeling eased =
some. It does seem that I may need a bit stronger in the right eye thoug=
h. The brain seems to know when one eye should compensate for the other.

Well, as we age, many/most of us lose a significant amount of
"accommodation" that allows our eyes to do the "zoom" thing. That is
the sum total of presbyopia. The idea of correcting the eyes in
differing focal points is interesting, but I'd rather have pretty good
distance vision and carry reading glasses or a small magnifier.
