Send the box priority mail. It's a bit more expensive intitially, but as
long as you don't open a priority mail box, they will forward it without
additional charge. So, if you get into town, have a good understanding of
what is in your box and decide you won't need it for another week or two,
just give them a forwarding address slip and send the box on it's merry way.
Don't send it to your next town stop though - skip one or the box may be
playing "catch up with it's hiker" for weeks.
