Willie,
I picked up the very first copy directly from the publisher here in town.=
It is a good read...but directed mainly toward women. It is a book wri=
tten by women hikers for women hikers, that deals with "women specific" i=
ssues, such as safety, leaving a husband/ boyfriend behind, physical issu=
es....it is filled with personal comments from many female thru-hikers, n=
ot written as a journal, but more of an interview.
