This puts a finger on exactly what I envisioned walking the Appalachian
Trail meant - before I learned of all this amazing hair-splitting (walking
into blowdowns, backing out, walking around, then pushing in from the other
side? Really?)
To me, what you've written - that's a sane, honest effort.
