[at-l] Re: Converting footsteps to miles



I don't know how to make that conversion -- or whether it is 
possible -- but just want to suggest taking every other step when 
you can (going down that way is a lot harder than going up), or 
varying the stepping as much as possible.  Expends the same 
amount of calories in the end, and approximates the variations in 
step height better than uniform small stair steps.
