[at-l] Re: who does silnylon ponchos

Stephenson Warmlite <www.warmlite.com> makes ponchos. I like mine. THey're costum jobs and if I were
to get another one I'd ask, though they may very well say no, if they'd sew on a couple silnylon
belt loops. Typical weight is about 8 ounces.

Integral Designs <www.integraldesigns.com> makes the SilPoncho (under Tarps). It's a combination 5 x
8 tarp and poncho. Weighs about 10 ounces. I don't have one but expect it is a fine product. This
might be available through MEC <www.mec.ca> which once you join can give you fantastic deals given
the currency exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollar.

Equinox sells a silnylon poncho that also doubles as a tarp. I've not seen it. The people at
<www.backcountrygear.com> probalby sell it (check the shelter section first).

You could probably get a silnylon poncho made by the good folks at Moonbow Gear
<www.moonbowgear.com>. They're the people who made my silnylong rain chaps. I know at least one
other person who likes his chaps (Don Johnston of Photon stove fame).

Campmor sells some ponchos but I don't think any of them are made using silnylon.

That's all that come to mind right now.
