Back in the good old days of glass bottles, we used to make Kaluha and
bannanna schnapps and bottle it for Christmas presents for friends. The
bottles by the case were pretty expensive. Of course, it was for
medicinal use only.

Today I went by my friendly little pharmacy (I avoid the chains) and he
had only one 8oz bottle to make do through the weekend. I suspect the
chain stores and employees aren't as careful with inventory control and
costs. 

I've also found the childproof tops of many sample and pill bottles are
perfect for Platypus bags, and much stronger than the ones they sell.
