[at-l] OMG- (pack weight)

  [Orange Bug writes:]
This is one of the worst teases I have ever experienced. You are
telling us that before food and water, you have shelter, 2 bags and
pads, TP and digger for 5 for 5 days, clothes including rain gear for
2, filter and cook kit for 5 - all for 24 pounds (including the
  backpack).

Frankly, I think you have found the 4th great lie. I demand a gear list
  and weights!

  Bill....
<If you list it, I'll respect you in the morning.>

ok here goes, I'm doing this on a standard bathroom scale so the weights will be rounded to the 1/2 lb.
I'm weighing myself with the item, then deducting my own weight.

Pack: Mountainsmith Mountain Guide 4500 c.i. (not the same one shown on the site)
shelter: Coleman Inyo2
Bags: SD 40 winks 35* and Kelty Voyager 30* for kids
Pads: Therm-a-rest guidelight 3/4 and a closed cell foam pad (trimmed for length & width for Jade's bag)
Clothes: (Me) silk longjohns, fleece pullover, Columbia zip of convertible pants, swim trunks with built in liner, rail riders adventure zip T shirt, 1 pair thor-los, fleece hat.(Jade)(the 5yr. old) silk longjohns, fleece sweat pants and sweatshirt, 1 pair smartwools (kids socks are way cute), zip off convertible pants, T shirt, fleece hat.
Rain gear: (me)sil-nylon poncho (Susan's carrying Jade's rain gear which is a Columbia kids rain suit)
Cook Kit: Primus Yellowstone Classic Stove and 1/2 sized fuel can, 1L Ti pot, 4 gradually smaller lexan bowls, lexan spoons for all 5 plus 2 forks in case the little girls need 'em, matches, lighter, (be prepared scout) aluminum foil windscreen for stove.
Filter: Katadyn mini + Aqua Mira
Cathole kit: lexan digger, 1/3 roll tp, home made wetwipes (bio safe), trashbag (for pack out options)
1st aid kit: 10 compeed pads of various sizes, small (1oz. sized) nalgene with meds, .2 oz. eye drops (2 contact wearers), 1 yd. duct tape, small nalgene w/ immodium, ibuprofen, safety pins

That's the full list of everything including the bag, here are the weights:

pack: 5.5lb.
bag 1:(adult) 2.5lb.
bag 2:(child) 1lb.
pads: 1.5lb.
Shelter: 3.5lb.
cooking, filter, 1st aid, potty kits: 5.5lb.
clothes and raingear: 4.5lb. (Note: some of this will be worn, not packed)
Total: 24lb.

Susan is carrying the other tent (which weighs a bit more than the one I've got) as well as most of the food, her own bag, Jade's raingear, and her own water and snacks.
Carmen will carry her own bag, her own clothes, and water.
Jade will carry her own water and some snacks.
Leigh (our niece) is carrying her own bag, clothes, some of the food, and her own water.

We've planned for weights to fall out somewhat like this:
me (200#) - up to 50 lb.
Susan (135#) - up to 30lb.
Leigh (125#) - up to 20lb.
Carmen (65#) - up to 10lb.
Jade (40#) - up to 5lb.
I'm the only one carrying 1/4 of my weight. Susan is close, and all the kids are well below.

What have I forgotten?

Now I'm really feeling like the virgin on prom night. I've never posted a gear list b4. Does it hurt the first time you're tuckerized?

sorry for the delay, I didn't weigh each item before packing, I just wanted to know what the whole thing was going to weigh.
