[at-l] OT: one way to help

I'd add "PIC" or "Grenade Victims" or something like that to the check, too . . .

See below. Apparently, PIC has been without a full time pastor for 10
months. But the most recent pastor, who seems to have some connection with
Atlanta, is going to help out for a couple of weeks.

Jonathan,

Mongolia. Wow! That sounds about as exotic as you can get in USAID. I'm
glad you're enjoying it.

I'm copying below the message from Jim Killgore, the recent PIC pastor. He
runs an NGO and is channeling funds through it for Pakistan. See his middle
para for instructions.

Ray

MESSAGE FROM JIM KILLGORE, <JIMKILLGORE@ACMC.ORG>

Yes, I'm leaving for PIC in a few hours. There are many needs for those who
have been injured. There will be many needs for rebuilding lives
(counseling, physical therapy) and the church (you name it!!!!).

Right now, there are many who have not been able to receive additional
medical help who are still in the hospital. You may remember that in
Pakistan the hospital system is somewhat of a pay as you go. Each day you
have to pay the bills in order to get the next day's treatment.

If you or anyone else wants to make a contribution, our ministry ACMC is set
up to receive donations. Make the check out to ACMC - Pakistan and mail it
to ACMC, 4201 North Peachtree Road, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30341-1207.

Please remember me in your prayers as I leave. I will arrive on Sunday
(24th) at 2am and share in the service (to be held at the Mariott Hotel) at
10am. I will be there for 2 weeks.

By the way, I will be meeting with the PIC Church Council to release funds to
them for disbursement and reporting. We will be wise stewards of these
sacrificial gifts. Thanks, Ray!!
