Brandon - this product is no gimmick. It works and works well. We've been
testing it in our lab over the last year. It's a really neat piece of
equipment. However, it is most effective for small water volumes. It's
definitely worth a look.

Doug: We've been getting about 100-120 treatments (12-16 oz water per
treatment) with lithium AA batteries. This is at room temperature. Alkaline
AA's is much less, maybe 20-40 treatments?

I hike alone sometimes. Its during these Mike Aken
solo hikes that the number of arrogant N7OUJ
and ignorant people I have to deal
with is reduced to one.
