[at-l] MP3's, here we go...

I just did a quick search on www.cnet.com for mp3 players.
My criteria were:
1. AAA or AA batteries
2. removable flash (or similar) memory card
3. compact or ultra compact.

here are the results (no particular order) and the URL of the actual results:
http://electronics.cnet.com/electronics/1,10708,0-6342420-1323-0,00.html?id=8338249&id=4935502&id=2382395&id=6969503&id=7788389&id=7788305&tag=txt
(you'll probably have to cut and paste---sorry)

Audio Otis - around $119
Daisy Diva mp3064vp - around $99
First International Digital FID irock! 520 - around $99
Compaq Ipaq pa-2 - around $150
Compaq Ipaq pa-1 - between $109 - $249
Nike Psa Play 120 - around $200

I didn't include any major details but these will all take regular batteries and you can record all (your whole collection) of your music onto memory sticks or flash cards which are about the size of a stick of chewing gum. Most come with arm bands for holding the player and all are in the range of a few ounces in weight.

have fun!

Apples Ipod will house up to 10 hours of continuous music, FWIW.
