I thought this might be of interest for the list. So I copied and edited the
info below.  

JIC you don't know what it is, ECO CHALLANGE is an "extreme" adventure race.
Divided into teams of 4.  They do such things a biking, hiking, canoeing,
etc.; all in one race.  A lot of the teams  (that often include pro or
semi-pro atheletes or outdoorspeople) never finish or finish out of the
running.  Some keep "running" the race after they drop out of placing -- No
recognition except for having finished.  A lot of amateurs or first timers
do this -- including, last year, 3 Playboy centerfolds and their coach.  Of
all the reality shows, it is the best.  And it's more of a survivor race
than SURVIVOR will ever be.

PS	Has anyone on the list (who knows about ECO CHALLANGE and such
races) ever raced in such a race or considered forming such a team?
