All that, of course, but there is another element that hasn't been
mentioned:
There is something stirring about hoisting your "stuff" on your back, all
you need to get by, and walking somewhere.
That leads to:
The freedom element. The freedom to go here, or to go there. For days at a
time.
But I agree with Shane. The act of lugging itself is a necessary evil.
But necessary, fundamental. I mean, a cart wouldn't cut it.
But EVIL, sometimes! Ha!
