[at-l] Laws of Backpacking: Rules of the Obvious
Bill -
Had it been raining buckets when I passed, you are likely correct. As it
was, the week was interesting because the trail went from stream bed Saturday
to mud Sunday to frozen icy mess Monday to mud Tuesday to icy mess Wednesday
a.m. and mud Wednesday p.m. as it froze, thawed and then refroze. Almost
enough to make me a believer in crampons... almost. Do crampons work in mud?
