[at-l] Convertible Pants

I actually did some "gear testing" for a company's convertable pants on my
thru hike. They were pretty nice at first but after the first week or so,
they really chaffed my legs where the pant legs zip off. I finally sent
them home and just wore my lined nylon trunks. I had a pair of fleece pants
i changed into as camp wear. no need for long pants hiking, generated too
much heat. ive got some real neat memories of hiking over mt mousilake in
"jogging shorts" and a cut off t-shirt surrounded by dayhikers in down
parkas and giant hats and mittens.
