[at-l] backpacking spices



My staple trail food is ordinary rice and pastas. My essential flavorings are
bouillon cubes, dried onion flakes, dried hot pepper flakes, chilli powder,
curry, basil, mixed parmesian and romano cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes -- and
of course, salt and pepper.

I dry basil from the garden by hanging it above our kitchen wood stove. The rest
comes from the supermarket.

I've always thought about buying tomato powder, but have never gotten around to
it.
