Bingo!  (I'm agreeing with Cliff??  Whoah!)

It's a challenge keeping a list together.  If it's all work
and no play (eg nothing but facts) then those who are
supplying information will get bored and leave after a
while.  You gotta give them a reason to hang out, and
often that's just the freedom to chatter, make small
talk, and have fun.  (Even at the expense of the newbies,
some times!)
