I'm sometimes curious as to weather folks complaining about volume are new
to the internet, or have just not realized that and inactive list is just
that, an inactive list. If there isn't chatter when there aren't important
issues to discuss, after a while there is no chatter. Questions go
unanswered, and folks look elsewhere. When the list is active, questions get
answered promptly. If you want everything to be on topic, probably your beat
bet is a noninteractive web page (like trailplace is going to be now),
everything is on topic, or get a book. Of course there is a disadvantage,
because participation is limited, prospective is limited.
