[at-l] calling all docs..

I offer a simple rule of thumb when it comes to dealing with -itis's:

If your condition is keeping you from doing the things you like to do
(or need to do) and hasn't gotten better in a reasonable period of time,
then go see a physician.

Considering the nature of your activity, go see a physician who
specializes in sports injuries. And, if deemed necessary by your
physician, make sure you're referred to a certified athletic trainer
(ATC) or physical therapist (PT) experienced in athletic injury care for
subsequent treatment and rehabilitation.

Although the description of your situation can point to various
conditions that initially behave alike (tendinitis, osteoarthritis,
meniscal damage, etc.), it's difficult to make an assesment without a
thorough examination. Good luck and hope u feel better!
