As one of the people with a V.90 modem (at home, E-mail only at work), I
can assure you that he is right on the money.  I like (properly
formatted)text only pages, text only pages are good!  All images larger
than 50k should be banned from the www!  :-)>

Pat Loomis (whose Sony DSC F505V creates images 1.3-2.0 Mb!!! They make
great 8X10s, but lousy internet images unless compressed, a lot!)
