here i sit at the garvey shelter.  everything you have heard about this place is true.  it is an engineering marvel, probably will hold 20 hikers, is right on the ridgeline, faces the rising sun, has plate (plexi)glass windows, a deck, a picnic table, a privy, and a large wood pile for your campfireing pleasure.  wish i had made it here last night<g>...
