[at-l] Thru-hike Meals

A question about a post by Gary Buffington:

Why do you separate the powdered milk and mix only when you cook? My idea
was to pre mix. For example if I am making an oatmeal breakfast, I would
think one would put the oatmeal mix, powdered milk and perhaps some brown
sugar and raisins in one ziplock, and then just add hot water and stir when
ready to eat? Comments? Anyone?

Thanks
Pb
